Our Fight Against Child Poverty

We are currently feeding between 35 & 40 street children daily and we are working to increase this number.

Within the region of southern Africa, Malawi has one of the youngest populations, with over half of its 15 million people being under 18 years according to a Unicef report on child poverty in the region.

Millions of children in Malawi are affected by deep poverty, with many households in Malawi requiring social support of some kind.

Our goal is to help reduce the number of street children directly impacted by these issues. We are currently feeding between 35 & 40 street children daily and we are working to increase this number.

Our objective is not only to feed, but also to provide assistance in the form of educative and housing services to help improve the future prospects of these children.

In September 2018, 3 children who would greatly benefit from such assistance were identified.

We worked to set up sponsorship to send them to school in addition to receiving help via our feeding program. They were provided with equipment, uniform and all the tools necessary to ensure they were ready to enter the education system.

These are just some of the areas we work in as we seek to eleveate some of the hardships faced by the street children of Malawi.

Yours sincerely,
